Escalator Installation

A project out of our normal wheelhouse where we were able to showcase our versatility. These 40-year-old escalators were well past their prime. Originally installed using a tower crane from overhead, there were no provisions made in the suspended slab to safely support the equipment necessary for the removal of the old and installation of the new escalators. We were engaged to install necessary shoring down through three floors of parking deck to facilitate this task and then were able to support all efforts in safely removing the old and installing the new.
